The Senique Hanoi Accelerates Toward Completion: Sigma Marks Key Milestones with 22kV Energization and Water Supply Connection

23/07/2026

July has brought Hanoi its typical summer weather, with scorching heat alternating with sudden thunderstorms. These conditions have made construction activities more challenging, particularly for outdoor works and material transportation. Nevertheless, at The Senique Hanoi Luxury Apartment Complex, construction has continued at a steady pace, reflecting the strong commitment of Sigma's Project Management Team and site workforce to maintaining the project's target schedule.

The most significant highlights during this period were the successful 22kV medium-voltage power energization on 28 June 2026 and the connection of the permanent water supply system on 29 June 2026. These two consecutive milestones represent a major transition from infrastructure development to the project completion phase, providing the foundation for MEP system testing, commissioning, inspections, and accelerating equipment installation in the months ahead.

Alongside these achievements, technical documentation and engineering coordination have remained under excellent control, with MSA and Shop Drawing (SDWG) completion rates reaching 97%, while MOS/ITP documentation achieved 100% completion, ensuring full technical readiness to support ongoing construction activities.

Material procurement has also continued smoothly. Over the past two weeks, a wide range of critical equipment and materials has been delivered to the site, including generators, electrical distribution boards, CCTV systems, ductwork, copper piping, fire protection materials, and various MEP accessories. At the same time, additional purchase orders have been released to ensure sufficient material availability for the project's accelerated construction phase.

With a workforce of nearly 370 engineers and workers consistently deployed on site, Sigma has maintained multiple construction fronts simultaneously, enabling continuous progress across MEP works from the basement and technical areas to residential floors and rooftop facilities. Flexible resource allocation has allowed the project to maintain its construction momentum despite Hanoi's unpredictable rainy-season weather.

As a result, all major MEP disciplines have achieved encouraging progress. Plumbing and drainage works have continued throughout apartment floors, service shafts, pump rooms, rooftop water tanks, and the swimming pool area. HVAC installation has been accelerated across residential units, corridors, basements, and rooftop areas, while fire protection works have continued with the installation of piping networks, sprinkler heads, and valve assemblies. Electrical works have progressed simultaneously in multiple zones, including equipment installation, busway systems, cable trays, lighting, fire alarm systems, and lightning protection, paving the way for phased inspections and handovers.

Notably, following the completion of permanent power energization and water supply connection, the project has officially entered the finishing stage for its first completed floors. Defect rectification, final equipment installation, and preparations for floor-by-floor inspections and handover are now being carried out intensively, laying the groundwork for expanding finishing works across the remaining areas.

Alongside these accomplishments, the Project Management Team continues to work closely with the Client and the Main Contractor to resolve outstanding issues related to building finishing works. Enhanced coordination among all stakeholders is helping minimize potential impacts on MEP installation activities while maintaining steady construction progress across the project.

With the successful completion of two critical infrastructure milestones—the 22kV power energization and permanent water supply connection—supported by a stable workforce and well-controlled construction planning, Sigma is steadily bringing The Senique Hanoi closer to the final completion and handover stages, once again demonstrating its capability to deliver large-scale luxury residential developments with outstanding quality, schedule performance, and professionalism.
